Adventure Theatre MTC (ATMTC), the two-time recipient of the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Production, Theatre for Young Audiences, has announced its 63rd Season. This year, ATMTC brings to life five main stage productions featuring two world premieres. The 63rd Season represents an exciting line-up of classic stories and familiar faces on the ATMTC Professional Stage.

The new season kicks off in New York, where Mr. and Mrs. Little have just welcomed their new son - a talkative and curious mouse! STUART LITTLE is a charming adaption of the widely recognized children's literature classic written in 1945 by E.B. White that spans generations. Starring Helen Hayes Winner Chris Dinolfo (2012 James MacArthur Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor) and directed by Theatre Alliance's Producing Artistic Director Colin Hovde.

Over the holiday season, ATMTC is excited to present the world premiere of TINY TIM'S CHRISTMAS CAROL, based on the classic novella "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. This nostalgic story of a father and son is adapted by Broadway's Tony-winning Ken Ludwig and his own son, Jack. Tiny Tim promises a magical celebration of winter and the renewal of life that follows with spring.

ATMTC rings in 2015 with pizazz! PETITE ROUGE: A CAJUN RED RIDING HOOD unfolds in the swampy, spirited world of the bayou, where a sassy red-hooded duckling named Petite Rouge and her sidekick lead the big bad gator on a wild "duck" chase through New Orleans. Petite Rouge is based on the classic fairy tale and adapted from the book by Mike Artell and Jim Harris, with direction and choreography by ATMTC Producing Artistic Director Michael J. Bobbitt.

The beloved home-grown fairytale WIZARD OF OZ is vibrantly brought to life in the hands of Roberta Gasbarre, director of Smithsonian Institute's Discovery Theater, as the fourth show of ATMTC's season. True to L. Frank Baum's novel, Jacqueline E. Lawton's new adaptation follows Dorothy (Paige Hernandez) and her silver slippers as she travels the yellow brick road, encountering a number of fantastical characters along the way.

Finally, the season is concluded with a birthday bash for America's favorite bad cat, in ATMTC's summer production of GARFIELD: THE MUSICAL WITH CATTITUDE, directed by renowned local playwright Gregg Henry and starring Evan Casey.

Additionally, ATMTC will be nationally touring its recent favorite, BIG NATE THE MUSICAL, and will debut a NEW two-act family musical, OLIVER!, at Round House Theatre in Bethesda.

ATMTC's Producing Artistic Director Michael J. Bobbitt says of the season, "Three world premieres, some of our most important literary characters of all time, renowned playwrights, a national tour and a favorite classic two-act family musical! I know this year will turn thousands of children into life-long theatre goers!"

ATMTC is currently only allowing purchase of Season Flexpasses and student group bookings for the 2014-2015 Season. Season Flexpasses, which contain 10 tickets per book, provide a discount on the ticket price and processing fees, and offer unlimited exchanges. Single ticket sale dates will be announced at a later date. For more information about Adventure Theatre MTC, call 301-634-2270 or visit www.adventuretheatre-mtc.org.
