CPM Announces Sound of Music Auditions, 3/14 & 3/15

PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE ENTIRELY
There are specific instructions.

WHO:
Children's Playhouse of MD

WHAT:
"The Sound of Music"

WHERE/WHEN:
Monday, March 14, 6:30 to 9:00pm, E buliding recital hall
Tuesday, March 15, 6:30 to 9:00pm, J Building Lecture Hall

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
Must be age 18 or under. If 18, must still be in high school.
Prepare a song, 16 measures or one verse and one chorus of a song that shows off your voice the best. It does not have to be from the show.
Bring the sheet music or a cd with NO vocals on it.

You may or may not be asked to read from the script. You will partake in a movement audition, bring suitable shoes and dress accordingly.

NOTE:
THERE ARE TWO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS FOR EACH DAY OF AUDITIONS.

You ARE NOT signing up for a specific time, just a day. Auditionees will go into the room in the order they arrive.

Performance Dates are May 7 - May 22, 2011
on Saturdays and Sundays.

PERFORMANCE CONFLICTS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.

Rehearsals are usually three weeknights from 6:30 to 8:30pm and a block of time of Saturday or Sunday - 12:00 to 5:00pm.
