Paramount+ has released the video trailer for the Grease prequel series, Rise of the Pink Ladies, taking place four years before “Grease.” In 1954, before rock ‘n’ roll ruled, before the T-Birds were the coolest in the school, four fed-up outcasts dare to have fun on their own terms, sparking a moral panic that will change Rydell High forever.

Marc Platt has announced that La La Land will be adapted into a Broadway musical directed by Bartlett Sher. The musical will feature music from the film's composer, Justin Hurwitz and lyrics by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. The book will be written by Ayad Akhtar and Matthew Decker. 

The single also served as the title track to King’s debut LP with Stax. Released in August 1967, Born Under a Bad Sign compiled the above-mentioned singles, plus originals like “The Hunter,” (penned by Booker T. & The M.G.’s, and Carl Wells), “Personal Manager,” (by King and David Porter), and King’s own “Down Don’t Bother Me.”

Angels in Science Fiction will release their new album from St. Paul & The Broken Bones. The record’s first single, “Sea Star,” is out now with an accompanying video, an homage to the band’s home state of Alabama that introduces the album’s themes—life and death, beauty and truth—directed by Gus Black.

Turkish psych-folk innovators Altın Gün have shared their deeply atmospheric new single, “Güzelliğin On Para Etmez,” available now at all DSPs and streaming services. Written and composed by the highly regarded Turkish poet Âşık Veysel, “Güzelliğin On Para Etmez” heralds the arrival of Altın Gün’s eagerly anticipated new album.

While reflecting on his Academy Award winning film adaptation of Chicago, Rob Marshall has revealed the original concept for 'Razzle Dazzle' that didn't make the cut. The original direction for 'Razzle Dazzle' was ambitious, but was ultimately cut and re-thought due to the film's tight budget and shooting schedule.

A deeply personal album, Davis charts its path through the eyes of Fish Bowl’s central character FiBo. She is sharing the spare, slow-building track “Call Home,” which is what Davis calls her “big pandemic feelings song.” Processing isolation from the confines of a bedroom in her mother’s house.

Yvette Nicole Brown joins Jennifer Hudson on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
