The Dustin J. Wells Foundation's The Gift of Music concert to benefit the W.O. Smith Music School and the Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation announces Dolly Parton, Lee Greenwood, Lonestar, Collin Raye, T.G. Sheppard, Drew Baldridge, Abby Anderson, Artimus Pyle Band, Eric Lee Beddingfield, Red Mountain Bluegrass Band, Brad and Maisy Stella, Taylon Hope, and Scott Bass will take the stage of the historic Ryman Auditorium on January 30, 2020 at 7pm. Tickets for The Gift of Music Concert are $100 and $85 (for obstructed view) plus applicable services charges and are available online starting at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 24th. The event is also the featured entertainment for The Crown Council, a group of dental teams gathering in Nashville for their 25th Annual Event.

Helen Money has announced new album Atomic, out March 20th, as well as shared the album's intimate, expansive single 'Midnight'. Composer Alison Chesley stands as one of the most unique and versatile cellists working today. Under the Helen Money moniker, Chesley uses the instrument to access and channel the extremities of human emotion, employing extensive sonic manipulation and an array of plucking and bowing techniques to summon an astonishing breadth and depth of sound. A prolific collaborator, Chesley recently transcribed and performed on Bob Mould's Sunshine Rock has worked with the likes of Jason Roeder (Sleep/Neurosis) and Rachel Grimes (Rachel's), and she has toured extensively with Mould, Russian Circles, Earth, Shellac, Sleep and MONO. On her new album Atomic, Chesley pushes even further out towards the extremes of her output with a daring leap forward in her songwriting through minimalist arrangements that stand as her most intimate, direct, and emotionally bare work to date.

Bright Eyes are back. After a 9 year hiatus, Conor Oberst, Mike Mogis and Nathaniel Walcott, have re-grouped to record and tour in 2020. The beloved band, whose previous nine albums are some of the most lauded and influential records of a generation, last released a new LP, The People's Key, in 2011 followed by a remastered box set collection of their work in 2016. But, in 2019, the acclaimed trio returned to the studio to quietly begin work on new material.

Netflix has released the trailer for the new series Gentefied. Created by two Chicano first-gen writers, Gentefied is a half-hour dramatic comedy adapted from the 2017 Sundance digital darling of the same name. In this badass bilingual series about family, community, brown love, and the displacement that disrupts it all, three Mexican-American cousins struggle to chase the American Dream, even while that same dream threatens the things they hold most dear: their neighborhood, their immigrant grandfather, and the family taco shop. Set in a rapidly changing Los Angeles, the Spanglish dramedy will navigate important themes like identity, class, and balancing insta-fame with translating memes for their parents. But most importantly, Gentefied will settle once and for all how to pronounce Latinx.

The 2020 MusiCares® Person of the Year Aerosmith will perform live at the tribute concert in their honor, with Russell Brand as the event's host. GRAMMY® Award-winning artist Melissa Etheridge and past GRAMMY Award nominees Nuno Bettencourt, Jessie J and Kesha join the concert lineup with previously announced performers Cheap Trick, Gary Clark Jr., Alice Cooper, Gavin Degraw, Johnny Depp, Foo Fighters, Luis Fonsi, Sammy Hagar, H.E.R., Jonas Brothers, Emily King, John Legend, John Mayer, Ashley McBryde, LeAnn Rimes, and Yola. Greg Phillinganes will be the musical director.

High Water Festival has revealed its daily lineups for the 2020 installment of the festival, which is set to run from April 18-19 at North Charleston, SC. The lineup, curated by Holy City natives Shovels & Rope, is split into two days as follows:

This year will see the North American debut of the most extreme spectacle in live music, when RAMMSTEIN brings its full-scale stadium production to this continent for the first time ever. Rock n roll's most ambitious pyro-theatrical experience will be on display for a series of 10 open-air dates beginning August 20 at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montreal and setting eight U.S. stadiums ablaze before a final bonfire at Foro Sol in Mexico City on September 27. The tour is produced by AEG Presents.

On the heels of Vagabon's critically acclaimed self-titled album and subsequent eight-week tour with Angel Olsen, the musician announces a headlining spring tour beginning March 31 in Philadelphia, running through May 17 in Santa Ana, CA. Tickets for the tour will be on sale Friday, January 24 at 10 AM local time.

Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer Alice Cooper has announced his Summer 2020 tour plans. Cooper will be touring North America with Tesla and special guest Lita Ford. Cooper has extended his 'Ol' Black Eyes Is Back' show, which debuted in the Summer of 2019, into 2020.

Paramount Pictures has released the new trailer for The Rhythm Section. In the film, Blake Lively stars as Stephanie Patrick, an ordinary woman on a path of self-destruction after her family is tragically killed in a plane crash. When Stephanie discovers that the crash was not an accident, she enters a dark, complex world to seek revenge on those responsible and find her own redemption.
