It is today announced that acclaimed husband and wife composing and producing team James Morgan and Juliette Pochin will release their debut album as duo Piano Hands. Christmas Piano is a reimagined Christmas album featuring brand new interpretations of well-known popular and classical pieces. There will be two singles Fairy Tale Of New York and Jingle Bells released digitally on November 22 2019 with the full album being released on 29 November 2019. Christmas Piano is an album which creates a sound world of relaxing and atmospheric calm, perfect for meditation and mindfulness playlists.

Los Angeles-based indie-pop band Army Navy are back with a brand new single titled “Seismic,” a youthful blast of romantic and wistful indie-pop falling in line with the band's sound found across three full-length albums, numerous EPs & singles and feature films such as Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist, Shrek Forever After and The Way Way Back. A step forward in production and sound, “Seismic” follows the band's 2018 lost track, “Her Makeup,” and features core members Justin Kennedy (lead vocals, guitar), multi-instrumentalist Louie Schultz and long-term producer/engineer Adam Lasus (Yo La Tengo, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah).

Olso's Das Body has shared a new single, “Against The Glass” via Luminelle Recordings. The track continues the band's tradition of crafting incredibly catchy 80's-influenced pop gems that led the UK's The Line Of best Fit to say they create, “the best parts of pop without making it overly saccharine in its delivery.” The single was produced by Jorge Elbrecht (Ariel Pink, Japanese Breakfast, Wild Nothing, Sky Ferreira). Of “Against The Glass” Das Body notes it, “is about the claustrophobic feeling when you realize what you've been working towards and finally achieved is only a result of the people around you looking out for their own interests.'

The Jay Vons premiered a video for “Keep On Moving” today via Vents Magazine, prior to their debut album, The Word, arriving tomorrow via La Castanya. The New York City quartet will celebrate December 1 in Brooklyn at Union Pool.

Hinder drummer Cody Hanson and frontman Marshal Dutton have announced a new project under the moniker Dangerous Hippies. The idea for the new band unofficially started in 2011 when the two were working as a songwriting/production partnership, before Marshall joined Hinder. They were approached to write a song for a commercial that was similar to The Black Keys. Once it was finished and they started to share the end result, the feedback from friends inspired them to continue. Cody Hansen says: 'We were very inspired and were having a blast, so we decided to write more in the same style. It seemed to come naturally and since it had a more raw feel, we could spend more time on writing and less time polishing in the studio.' Over the years the sound has grown and evolved into a mixture of several styles with elements of rock, pop, hip hop, folk and reggae letting the duo spread their songwriting wings beyond the active rock they are best known for.

Sadler Vaden is set to return with Anybody Out There? on March 6, 2020 via Dirty Mag Records / Thirty Tigers. Minneapolis-based indie rock trio, Porcupine, just shared a documentary that details the re-recording of their 2015 album, Carrier Wave, with legendary record engineer and record producer, Steve Alibi. 

Sum 41 are celebrating another Top 40 Active Rock Chart add with recent single 'Never There.' The emotionally charged ballad was released earlier this Fall to incredible reception from fans and press alike. Dedicated to single parents everywhere, the song is a personal letter from lead singer Deryck Whibley. 'Never There' is one of the band's heaviest songs to date, but in an entirely different way.
