HELLER AWARDS FOR YOUNG ARTISTS at The Long Center for the Performing Arts

The Long Center presents the 10th Annual Heller Awards for Young Artists, an evening of live performance including awards in 18 categories, performances by our 8 Best Production nominees, Lead & Supporting medleys, and musical numbers by our Select Ensemble. Hosted by program alumni Donelvan Thigpen and Jessica O’Brien, the Awards will be held Wednesday, April 19 in Dell Hall.

Imagine Austin’s version of the Tony Awards. Every year, the Long Center brings together over 33 schools from Austin and beyond to shine a spotlight on the hard work of thousands of students and teachers involved in arts education. Join us as we mark the tenth anniversary of this program with an evening of live performances, awards, scholarships, special guests, and more.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• Red Carpet at 5:00pm // Doors at 6:00pm // Show at 7:30pm
• This is an indoor event.
• All patrons require a ticket to attend the performance.
• Prohibited items include but are not limited to: Outside food or drinks, weapons of any kind including pocket knives, Professional cameras (cameras with detachable lenses), Video cameras, illegal or illicit items of any kind, tents, vending of any kind and soliciting of any kind.
• Animals and pets are not permitted except for properly identified service animals.
