2026 Sonic Guild Ball at ACL Live at the Moody Theater

Sonic Guild (formerly Black Fret) is hosting their 2026 Sonic Guild Ball on Friday, Dec. 11 at ACL Live at the Moody Theater with tickets on sale now. Throughout the evening, Sonic Guild will award $100,000 in grants to this year’s winners. The diverse lineup of talented nominees includes Cormae, LeTrainiump, Andrew Cashen & The Disciples of Creation, Gran Moreno, Judy Blank, J Soulja and more. The evening will feature performances from ten of the 2026 Sonic Guild grant recipients. Doors are at 6 p.m. and the Ball kicks off at 7 p.m. Sonic Guild Members attend the Ball for free, anyone wishing to join Sonic Guild on an annual basis may become a member by joining here: https://www.sonicguild.org/austin-chapter/join-austin-chapter. Every ticket purchased helps fund Sonic Guild’s artist grants, providing meaningful direct support to the local musicians who continue to shape the sound and spirit of the city.

Sonic Guild’s annual Ball celebrates the exceptional local artists who make Austin’s music scene so unique and original, and this year, the event will have a special theme inspired by the Golden Girls and their timeless reminder to “thank you for being a friend.” Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in their 80s evening best to honor this incredible music community that its artists and fans have cultivated.
