A satirical look at the scandalous world of young celebrity, The Little Dog Laughed playfully exposes the challenges of being gay in Hollywood. In it, a rising movie star gets pulled in all directions by his spin-doctor agent, the sexy "rent-boy" who has caught his eye and the rent-boy's naïve and needy girlfriend -- not to mention the photographers who track their every move. In its off-Broadway run, The Little Dog Laughed was nominated for the GLAAD Media Award for Outstanding New York Theatre; after moving to Broadway, it earned a Tony nomination for Best Play.
