Aurora Theatre Hosts Funny Fridays Headliner Arthur Atsma Comedy-Magician 5/28

Aurora Theatre Funny Fridays, club comedy on the square in downtown Lawrenceville, has featured a wide array of comic performances this season. This variety has been the key to success with appearances by a comedy improv troupe, an all-female stand-up group, a hypnotist and nationally known headliners. This Memorial Day weekend we top off the season with comedy-magician Arthur Atsma as the headliner with performances at 7:15 & 9:15 PM on May 28, 2010.

The magically entertaining Arthur Atsma has taken his act across the nation for the last twenty years. Weaving cutting edge, fast paced sleight of hand magic tricks with razor sharp wit are the hallmark of an Arthur Atsma show. His use of humor throughout every show is clean, quick, sophisticated, and non-offensive. Comedy occurs as a result of The Situations which unfold during the course of each performance. Audience members are always involved, but never insulted or embarrassed (well, not too bad anyway). The intimate setting of the Studio Theatre will give audiences an up-close view of his astonishing skill as a magician. Arthur's performances will be in the Gwinnett Federal Credit Union Studio with cocktail tables and full bar service from comedy series sponsor McCray's Tavern.
