Ellen DeGeneres took a moment out of today's opening monologue of THE ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW to respond to a recent Christian Post article that criticized her and other television shows and films for promoting a gay agenda. Watch the clip below!

In an article titled, "Are You Aware of theAvalanche of Gay Programming Assaulting Your Home?" pastor and author Larry Tomczak, writes "The indoctrination and propaganda coming from those advocating a gay lifestyle in our country, classrooms and culture are increasing. All of us need to take note and take action to guard those we love."

He goes on to specifically mention the 56-year-old talk show host, commenting, "'Ellen DeGeneres' celebrates her lesbianism and 'marriage' in between appearances of guests like Taylor Swift to attract young girls.

Using her trademark humor, DeGenerous responded today by commenting, "First of all, let's just break this down, I'm not 'married,' [making quotation marks with fingers] I'm married. That's all. Larry, the only way I'm trying to influence people is to be more kind and compassionate with one another. That is the message I'm sending out. I don't have an agenda."

She continued, "I'm not here to brainwash anyone, but, listen to the sound of my voice," she joked. "Attention, youth of the world, I want you to live your lives being exactly who you are. Be true to yourself. The most important thing is to be true to yourself."
