Deadline reports that a settlement has been agreed upon by the two parties involved in a recent copyright lawsuit involving the animated blockbuster, FROZEN.

In an order filed yesterday, U.S. District Judge Vince Chhabria revealed that two months after The Walt Disney company failed for the second time to have the copyright action taken by Kelly Wilson thrown out, "The Court was advised on June 10, 2015 that the parties have resolved this case." He went on to confirm, "Therefore, it is ORDERED that this case is DISMISSED without prejudice". The judge's order can be read in full here

The undisclosed confidential settlement leads to the cancellation of a scheduled trial for October over the 2013 box office hit film. Wilson originally filed her lawsuit in March of 2013 claiming that there were distinct similarities between her short film titled, The Snowman and a trailer for the Idina Menzel-led feature film.

Last July, Judge Chhabria seemed to agree with Wilson, writing, "The sequence of events in both works, from start to finish, is too parallel to conclude that no reasonable juror could find the works substantially similar."
