Rockin' Out In New York City With WGLR-DB Get Live Radio

WGLR-DB Get Live Radio is a genre-diverse Internet radio station bringing a wide range of music to audiences 24/7. Some of the genres included are alternative, rock & pop music. Get Live Radio has an original program called Rock Out, an hour-long show that offers rock, alternative & pop music from the 70's, 80's, 90's & today. Rock Out offers a wide variety of music from well-known artists & also new music from Independent artists from all over the globe. Independent artists can get their music played on Rock Out if they send their songs to the email address located within the contact information.

This month Rock Out made its debut on WSNR 620 AM, a commercial AM radio station licensed to Jersey City, New Jersey & serving the New York metropolitan area. WSNR 620 AM is co-owned by Gregory Davidzon & Sam Katsman, through licensee Davidzon Radio, Inc. who purchased WSNR for $12.5 million on March 31, 2015. WSNR runs more power at night than in the daytime transmitting 3,000 watts days and 7,600 watts nightly from five in-line towers located in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. The signal is directed at midtown Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, & the Nassau County, Long Island areas. Considering the high-wattage for nighttime programming, Rock Out will air on WSNR 620 AM every Monday (Sunday night going into Monday) at the 1am timeslot.

Rock Out will continue playing on Get Live Radio everyday at 1pm & 6pm but seeks to expand its audience by using the AM platform. The decision to air Rock Out on WSNR 620 AM came about as an expansion tactic. Though Get Live Radio plays as an Internet radio station, there are audiences in the world that still predominately tune in to AM & FM dials. Get Live Radio aims to reach these listeners & introduce them to Rock Out in hopes that they will appreciate this show the same way Get Live Radio listeners do.

Anyone who has ever enjoyed the gritty guitar riffs of Jimmy Hendrix or the eclectic rock/hip hop mix of Twenty One Pilots will enjoy the Rock Out show.
