Photo Coverage: Mandy Gonzalez, Carrie Manolakos, and Alex Newell in I'M EVERY WOMAN: DIVAS ON STAGE

On February 14, The New York Pops was joined by guest artists Mandy Gonzalez, Carrie Manolakos, and Alex Newell for I'm Every Woman: Divas On Stage. The concert saluted the power of the female voice, and paid tribute to Aretha Franklin, Whitney Houston, Barbra Streisand, Adele, and fellow icons who have transformed the world through song.

Additional concerts in The New York Pops' 2019-20 season at Carnegie Hall include: Find Your Dream: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein on January 24 with Laura Michelle Kelly and Max von Essen; Movie Night: The Scores of John Williams on March 27; in addition to the orchestra's 37th Birthday Gala honoring Kristen and Bobby Lopez on April 27.

Viola Davis Achieves EGOT Status at the GRAMMYs

Following her new GRAMMY win, Viola Davis has become the 18th person in history to achieve the EGOT status. Davis has won two Tony Awards for King Hedley II in 2001 and then for Fences in 2010. She won an Emmy Award for How to Get Away With Murder and an Oscar for reprising her stage role in the film adaptation of Fences.
