NYC Music Services Announces Sibelius '1-2-3' Training Sessions

Geared for both the novice Sibelius user and for those who want to take their skills to the next level, participants will learn skills, tips, and techniques in one or both of our training sessions on Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 9:30 am - 5:00 pm. Get the most out of this powerful music
creation software in a fun setting loaded with important information. Learning Sibelius is as easy as 1-2-3!

Fees and course information:
A preferential rate of $200 is available for those wishing to attend both sessions (a savings of $50).

Sibelius Level 1: Beginners
9:30 am - 12:30 pm
$125

The Beginners session will cover topics including opening scores and creating new scores, getting around the Sibelius interface, note input (both with and without a MIDI keyboard), selecting and copying music, working with text, dynamics, key signatures and time signatures, basic editing, and
playing back your score.

Sibelius Level 2: Intermediate
2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
$125

The Intermediate session will cover topics including a brief review of the topics presented in the Beginners session, chord symbols, score editing, engraving rules, customizing the look of your score, formatting and layout, using plug-ins and filters, and working with parts.
