KING MACKEREL & THE BLUES ARE RUNNING To Perform At West Bank Café's Laurie Beechman Theatre

The Coastal Cohorts will perform their musical King Mackerel & The Blues Are Running: Songs & Stories of the Carolina Coast at the West Bank Café's Laurie Beechman Theatre on Friday, May 18th and Saturday, May 19th at 7 p.m.
The shows at the West Bank will feature its co-authors and original performers as the Coastal Cohorts: hit record producer/songwriter Don Dixon, The Red Clay Ramblers pianist Bland Simpson, and Pump Boys & Dinettes principal author/composer/lyricist Jim Wann. Dixon, Simpson & Wann have run King Mackerel across North Carolina, Virginia and everywhere from the lighthouse at Tybee Island, Georgia, to the Martha's Vineyard Playhouse, including a popular summer run at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
