Jim Wann Biography
Jim Wann, from Chattanooga, TN, is a Singer/Guitarist, concert performer, and composer/lyricist/theatre artist. His shows and recordings combine a Southern Roots sensibility with an affinity for original storytelling that places acoustic musicians in the spotlight. Jim’s collaborations include the Tony-nominated (Best Musical) Pump Boys And Dinettes (…), due back in New York in Summer 2014, and the ever-evolving King Mackerel (…), often performed to benefit environmental organizations. In concert, Jim enjoys giving Johnny Mercer classics, his own songs, and traditional tunes the acoustic treatment, allowing the lyrics to shine and telling an overall story in an evening of music.Jim Wann Awards and Nominations

After the long pandemic hiatus, Porchlight Music Theatre returns to in-person productions with a feel-good staging of PUMP BOYS & DINETTES. It’s clear that Artistic Director Michael Weber knew that audiences would be craving some classic, lighthearted musical theater sentiment after such a long time away.
