Joe's Pub Presents Doane's Soul Kitchen in Concert Feat. Ackerman and Marino, 8/16

This new musical by writer/composer Michael V. Doane (www.myspace.com/michaelvdoane), tells the story of a soon-to-be-sold Bronx diner and its spicy staff. As they learn of the owner's plans to sell, they proceed with another typical day... except on this day, they learn more about each other's perseverance, dreams and rewards than ever before.

The talented cast of 10, including Broadway vet Loni Ackerman (Evita, Cats), West Side Story's Renee Marino and Sounds of Blackness star LaTrice Verrett, along with their hot 5-piece band live on stage, will make the story rock with soul at legendary Joe's Pub for one show only, Monday August 16th at 7:30pm.
