Since 2004, Improv 4 Kids, the educational outreach program for Eight Is Never Enough (AKA LMAO Off Broadway), has presented over 3000 shows for K-12 audiences at schools, camps and non-profit organizations. Now the producers are offering a special series of shows just for Title 1 Schools at a huge discount thanks to fundraising efforts via FUND ANYTHING (Crowd Funding).

Select Mondays in September and October have been designated for these special 90-minute programs. NYC Title 1 School Groups (Minimum 20ppl) can attend the 11:30 am performances for just $6pp (reg $10-15pp student groups, $25-40ppl at public shows). There are a limited number of seats available and will be offered on a first come first serve basis.

Each program will consist of a 60-minute show, with many students appearing on stage with the cast, followed by a mini master class plus Q&A with the performers. Students may eat their lunch in the theater before or after show.

Early on, the show's mission was to bring high-end, high-impact cultural arts exposure to students. Shows & Workshops by Improv 4 Kids (and Eight Is Never Enough at the grade 6-12 levels), bring performers that have appeared in numerous professional stage and screen projects including Broadway, TV & Film.

Improv 4 Kids bridges fans of comedy - many perhaps watching HBO and SHOWTIME comedy specials at a way too young age - to the theater world. "Disguised" as an interactive comedy, Improv 4 Kids theater shows & workshop teach kids about public speaking, self-confidence, listening, team, respect (with anti-bully themes) and creativity (thinking out of the box and writing). These skills are a must as future performers and invaluable to learning and succeeding in the future labor force. The cast talks about how valuable good communication skills can be in job interviews, getting promoted to management and qualifying for most professional jobs. daily.

In some cases, teaching artists from Improv 4 Kids further outreach via residencies and follow up workshops at the schools. Schools that book shows & workshop have access to online study guides that help their teachers continue to build these skill-sets in the class room.

If field trips are not an option, Improv 4 Kids is also offering great rates for fall bookings for school assemblies and after-school programming.

Administrators, teachers, and parents involved with Title 1 Schools interested in the programs should call Walt Frasier at 212-568-6560. More information at www.improv4kids.com/title1.
