Anya Volz Sets THIRST TRAP At Caveat
On Thursday February 21st, Comedian ANYA VOLZ is joining forces with CAVEAT, an artist friendly speak-easy, to bring some serious laughs to thinkers and drinkers on Manhattan's Lower East Side.
Located in the onetime home of the legendary Living Theatre, CAVEAT has quickly developed significant nerd cred for deftly curated programs ranging from science talks and trivia competitions to live concerts and podcast recordings. From their launch in 2017, New York Magazine hailed the venue as "A showcase for the funny side of intellectualism," which makes it an ideal match for the comedic stylings of ANYA VOLZ
A contributing writer and content creator for Riot Fest, The Hard Times and Macaulay Culkin's Bunny Ears, Volz has also been a featured performer in several national comedy festivals, including Gilda's Laughfest and the Women in Comedy Festival.
Originally from Vermont, she notes that her comedy has been described as "surprisingly funny" and "not even that preachy" by men all across America.
Tickets for the February 21st Thirst Trap - which also features Ophira Eisenberg (NPR) and Josh Johnson (The Daily Show) - are on sale from the venue here.
