The 21st Annual Southland Theatre Artists Goodwill Event (S.T.A.G.E.), the longest continuously running AIDS benefit in the world, will celebrate the work of two great American composers-Marvin Hamlisch and Harry Warren-on March 11, 12 and 13 with a show called "Two on the Aisle" at Cal State University Los Angeles' Luckman Fine Arts Complex. S.T.A.G.E. veteran David Galligan will once again direct the program with musical direction from Gerald Sternbach.

S.T.A.G.E. brings together some of the biggest stars in theatre, television and cabaret to celebrate the music of legendary Broadway composers. Performances are set for Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12 at 8:00PM and Sunday, March 13 at 3:00PM. Participants will be announced shortly. The program will feature selections from the repertoire of these two diverse composing talents. Columnist and American Movie Classics host Bob Osborne will host the first half of the show featuring the work of the late Harry Warren, who was best known for the recently revived "42nd Street" with its seminal "Lullaby of Broadway," as well as many popular songs from films and the hit parade, among them, "That's Amore," "I Only Have Eyes for You," "You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby," "Chattanooga Choo Choo," "Jeepers Creepers" and many others. Marvin Hamlisch's Broadway shows include "A Chorus Line," "They're Playing Our Song," "The Goodbye Girl" and "Smile," as well as signature songs like "Nobody Does It Better" and "The Way We Were," for which he won an Academy Award®. He is the composer of more than 40 motion picture scores, including his adaptation of Scott Joplin's music for "The Sting" and his original compositions and/or adaptations for "Sophie's Choice," "Ordinary People," "Three Men and a Baby," "Ice Castles," "Take the Money and Run," and "Save the Tiger."

Since its inception in 1984, S.T.A.G.E., the second fund-raising event ever created to fight AIDS, has raised millions of dollars for HIV/AIDS organizations throughout Southern California. This year, 100% of the proceeds from this event will go to AIDS Project Los
