Photo Flash: First Look at Danielle Hope and Jon Robyns in Promo Shots for THE LAST FIVE YEARS at Greenwich Theatre
Danielle Hope and Jon Robyns star as Cathy Hiatt and Jamie Wellerstein in Jason Robert Brown's acclaimed musical The Last Five Years at Greenwich Theatre London from 15th to 17th May and The Warren, Brighton from 21st to 24th May. The show will be directed by Katie Pesskin with musical direction from Michael Riley. It is produced by As Told By Productions and Susan Winter for Greenwich Theatre. Check out a sneak peek below!
The Last Five Years is a powerful and intimate musical about two New Yorkers who fall in and out of love over the course of five years. While Jamie's story is told choronologically, Cathy's is told in reverse and they meet only once, for their wedding in the middle of the show.
Danielle Hope made her professional debut as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, after capturing the hearts of the country and winning the BBC's smash hit Over The Rainbow having competed against over 9,000 girls. She went on to star as Eponine in the West End production of Les Miserables (Queen's Theatre). Following her success on Over The Rainbow, Danielle also released a single of the song Over The Rainbow in aid of the BBC Performing Arts Fund and Prostate UK.
Jon Robyns played the roles of Princeton & Rod in the original London cast of Avenue Q . His other West End work includesSpamalot, Les Miserables and Sondheim's Road Show. He appears on the Les Miserables 25th Anniversary Concert Recording and has released a solo album, Open Book.
The Last Five Years will play at Greenwich Theatre, London from 15th - 17th May 2014 (www.greenwichtheatre.org.uk) and then will transfer to The Warren, Brighton from 21st-24th May 2014 (www.brightonfringe.org.uk)
