Ron Bohmer Joins Cast of "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change"

Ron Bohmer, who recently starred as the villainous Sir Percival Glyde in Broadway's "The Woman in White," will join the cast of Off-Broadway's record-breaking musical I Love You, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE on Monday, March 20. Now in its 10th smash year, I Love You, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE will celebrate its 4,000th performance on March 14, a record never before reached by any other musical in Off-Broadway history with the exception of "The Fantasticks."

Ron Bohmer's other Broadway credits include the title role in "The Scarlet Pimpernel," Enjolras in "Les Miserables" and Fyedka in "Fiddler on the Roof," and he starred Off-Broadway in "The Thing About Men," "Forbidden Broadway S.V.U." and "The Joys of Sex." Nationally, Ron played the title role in "The Phantom of the Opera," as well as starring in "Sunset Boulevard," "Aspects of Love" and "Floyd Collins."

I Love You, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE celebrates the modern-day suburban mating game. Audiences fill the theatre with laughter as the cast explores the joys of dating, romance, marriage, lovers, husbands, wives, and in-laws.

Ron Bohmer will be joining cast members Anne Bobby, Jodie Langel and Jamie LaVerdiere, collectively portraying over 60 roles in a collection of delightful scenes and songs.

The hilarious I Love You, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE has surpassed the Broadway runs of such musicals as "My Fair Lady," "Annie," "South Pacific," "Oklahoma!," "Grease," "42nd Street," "Fiddler on the Roof," and "Hello, Dolly!"

Additional productions of I Love You, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE have been mounted in more than 280 cities worldwide including Los Angeles, Toronto, Boston, Chicago, London, Tel Aviv, Mexico City, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Budapest, Sydney, Prague, Seoul, Milan, Rio de Janeiro, Johannesburg, and Dublin, grossing over 85 million dollars.

The show is written by playwright/lyricist Joe DiPietro and composer Jimmy Roberts. Directed by Joel Bishoff, I Love You, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE is presented by James Hammerstein Productions, Bernie Kukoff and Jonathan Pollard.

The playing schedule for I Love You, YOU'RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE is Monday and Tuesday at 7 p.m., Wednesday at 2:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 4 & 8 p.m., and Sunday at 3 & 7 p.m. at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43rd Street).
