Teatro ZinZanni, the bewitching show combining cabaret, cirque, theatrical spectacle and original live music, blended with a five-course gourmet dinner, now in its tenth season, is looking for Bay Area performers to join the circus!

"While we have worked with a number of extraordinary Bay Area artists in the past, our connections to those artists have mostly been thru the grapevine." said Casting Director Reenie Duff. "We are excited to hear from the rest of the artistic community who have skills and talents that would be a bounty to our show."

The casting team is looking for local acrobats, aerialists, or artists with specialty acts including juggling, rola bola, risley, contortion, and/or hand-balancing, as well as comedians or clowns. Each one would need a 5 - 7 minute act.

Applications were due July 20, 2009. Auditions will be held on August 3, 4 and 5 in the ZinZanni tent located at Pier 29.

Application packages will be reviewed and artists will be individually invited to audition at Teatro ZinZanni in San Francisco on August 3rd, 4th and 5th. All Acrobats and Aerialists must include a description of all technical needs.

Set in an elegant, antique Belgian spiegeltent at Pier 29 on San Francisco's Embarcadero, Teatro ZinZanni opened on San Francisco's historic waterfront in 2000, it has become a permanent, unique fixture and an integral part of the lively entertainment and culinary scene in San Francisco.
