John Lloyd Young, 2006 Tony Award winner and current star of Jersey Boys, will be in attendance at the Winter Intensive for Broadway Artists Alliance.

As well as speaking to the aspiring performers, the organization will award him with the "Broadway's Student Choice Award of 2006/2007." Past Tony Award-winning guest speakers at the winter and summer intensives have included Sutton Foster, Beth Leavel, and Jason Robert Brown. Young will be participating in a question and answer period reflecting on his rising career with the 45 young performers, ranging from ages 10-19.

Young has also performed in Summer of the Swans at the Lucille Lortel Theatre and The Drawer Boy at Paper Mill Playhouse. In addition to the Tony, he also won Theatre World and Drama Desk Awards for his work in Jersey Boys.

The event will take place on Monday, February 19th at 2:30pm as a part of a 3 day Musical Theater Intensive at Ripley Grier Studios, NYC.  A total of 15 current Broadway artists will visit, mentor, and instruct the group of young and talented performers during this 3 day Master Class Series.
