Tramp's innovative, semi-immersive production reimagines Tennessee Williams' little known play in "Monk's Bar", a run-down British seaside bar on the Essex coast, frequented by life's flotsam and jetsam. Dick King-Smith's BABE, THE SHEEP-PIG Returns to the Stage

Adapted from Dick King-Smith's much-loved children's novel which inspired the Oscar-winning 1995 film, Babe, The Sheep-Pig will be brought to life on stage in an enchanting new production, embarking on a major UK Tour in 2017 following a Christmas season at Polka Theatre. Featuring stunning puppetry, an original score and an utterly charming 'baa-ber sheep' quartet, the tour will launch from West Yorkshire Playhouse on Monday 13 February and run until September 2017. Playing the oldest Von Trapp daughter, Liesl, is Paige Silvester. The role was made famous by the recently deceased Charmain Carr (may she rest in peace) in the 1965 film by the same name. Silvester hails from Sacramento, California; earned her BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Michigan; is no stranger to the stage; and writes a really fun blog. She grew up dancing, singing, and acting, and has performed The Muny, Sacramento Music Circus, and was most recently seen in the ensemble of the Broadway 1st National Tour of EVITA. (more...)

GREASE at Curve Announces Full Cast

Curve today announces casting for their Christmas production of the hit musical Grease. Dex Lee and Jessica Paul lead the cast as Danny Zuko and Sandy Dumbrowski with Keisha Atwell, Darren Bennett, Sophie Camble, Jonny Fines, Courtney George, Luke George, Shobna Gulati, Patrick Harper, Abigayle Honeywill, Sophie Isaacs, Max Jorquera, Sinead Kenny, Nathanael Landskroner, Michael Lin, Martin McCarthy, Sam Murphy, Djalenga Scott, Justin Thomas and Natalie Woods completing the company.
