This summer, the South Orange Performing Arts Center named arts visionary Dee Billia as its new Executive Director, effective immediately.

First producing events in 2000 under the name of “Summer Shakespeare,” the Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival has grown exponentially in subsequent years to include a number of regular performances and frequent special events. The festival will run August 26th and 27th, 2021.

The Boy With Two Hearts, as featured on BBC Radio 4's Book of the Week, has been adapted by Phil Porter for the stage from the book of the same name by Hamed Amiri. It tells the incredible true story of the Amiri family and Hamed's elder brother, Hussein, whose heart condition made their journey to the UK all the more critical.

Manchester's Hope Mill Theatre will launch a three-week festival in Ancoats this summer, HOPE FEST, with a programme of arts and cultural events from 16th July – 8th August.

It has been announced that Sutton Foster will replace Megan Mullally in the West End production of ANYTHING GOES, set to open this summer at London's Barbican Theatre from Friday 23 July for a strictly limited 12 week season until Sunday 17 October.

The Martin E. Segal Theatre Center has announced the eleventh weekly line-up of its new global series, SEGAL TALKS, which was conceived, created and curated by Frank Hentschker in March 2020. New York, US, and international theatre artists, curators, researchers, and academics will talk daily for one hour with Segal Center's director, Frank Hentschker, about life and art in the Time of Corona and speak about challenges, sorrows, and hopes for the new Weltzustand- the State of the World.
