Theatre Under The Stars (TUTS) has announced the finalists for the 2023 Tommy Tune Awards and the return of the in-person awards show for the first time since 2019! The 2023 Tommy Tune Awards will be held on May 4 at 7 p.m. at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts.

Next month, 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club & Private Event Destination, presents some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond. A recipient of the 2022 Tony Awards Honor for Excellence in the Theatre, 54 Below celebrates Broadway musicals and writers of the past and present, promoting an ongoing engagement with their work.

Theatre Wesleyan will present Martin McDonagh’s The Cripple of Inishmaan at the Thad Smotherman Theatre at Texas Wesleyan University (1205 Binkley Street, 76105) from February 16-26.  Check out all new photos here!

Celebrated more and more with every passing year, the medium of photography continues to amaze, provoke, reveal, and compel. This spring the arrival of a major photography fair in New York City offers an opportunity to see the very best photographs from around the world.

The animated series will star original voice talent including Mike Judge, Kathy Najimy, Stephen Root, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick and Lauren Tom. The reboot has been in the works since the 2017 San Francisco Sketchfest, where Judge and Daniels reconnected with the cast and celebrated the 20th anniversary of “King of the Hill.”

​​​​​​​Players Guild of Leonia, founded in 1919, presents the hilarious comedy, BEDROOM FARCE, at the Civil War Drill Hall Theatre (130 Grand Avenue, Leonia). The show will be presented over three weekends, starting this Friday, January 20th, and closing on Sunday February 5th. Performances are 8:00pm Fridays and Saturdays, and 3:00pm on Sundays.

With their season now in full swing, The Ritz Theatre Company gets set to usher in the New Year with a new take on Camelot, the soaring, award-winning musical by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe revolving around the legendary love triangle of King Arthur, Queen Guenevere, and Sir Lancelot.

Liberty Stand-Up Comedy keeps the laughs coming this winter with the addition of two more shows to make a series of 3 stand-up nights Spruce Peak Arts. Ann Kittredge will return to The Laurie Beechman Theatre (407 West 42nd Street – between 9th & 10th Avenues) on Sunday, October 23rd at 7pm with her Musical Director Christopher Denny (piano), Sean Harkness (guitar), Mary Ann McSweeney (bass), Rex Benincasa(drums) and special guests Robbie Kondor and Steve Ross.

For more than 40 years, Robert Klein has had an acclaimed career in comedy, on Broadway, on television and in film.

Wayne Brady, Jordin Sparks, and more will be joined by a Real Housewife, a Bachelorette and a drag queen superstar, and more in season 31 of Dancing With the Stars. The Broadway at Birdland concert series was pleased to present another performance of the  multi-MAC Award-winning Variety Show, Jamie deRoy & friends on Monday, July 11. Proceeds from the evening benefitted The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly named The Actors Fund).

Monday night’s installment of JAMIE deROY & FRIENDS at Birdland raised the roof and brought the house down with her guests Ben Jones, Daisy Jopling, Robert Klein, Lianne Marie Dobbs, and Grammy-winning songwriter Julie Gold. Check out the photos!
