Segerstrom Center for the Arts is helping the Orange County Food Bank fully stock its shelves with canned food goods for those in-need. Throughout the run of Moulin Rouge! The Musical, all patrons are encouraged to donate canned goods to help the nearly twenty percent of children in Orange County living in “food insecure” households.

Playwrights Horizons' production of Mia Chung's Catch as Catch Can, directed by Daniel Aukin, has delayed its opening night due to COVID-19. After recently cancelling performances October 26-29, the show will now open on November 9.

The 2022-2023 season continues at Kitchen Theatre Company with Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them, a coming of age story that explores the gap between childhood and whatever comes next. Performances of Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them begin at the Kitchen Theatre Company in the Percy Browning Performance Space on Tuesday, November 1 and will run through Sunday, November 20.

The Can Can, Seattle’s fabulous burlesque house, celebrates the 15th anniversary of their collaboration with The Triple Door by bringing back their ode to Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas” with their tantalizing “This Is Halloween”. And while this naughty nightmare has much of what you’d want from a Can Can show, one aspect continued to be quite frustrating, at least for me. Clarity.
