Joining the previously announced Alex Jennings in Stephen Beresford's The Southbury Child are Holly Atkins, Josh Finan, Jack Greenlees, Jo Herbert, Phoebe Nicholls, Racheal Ofori and Sarah Twomey. Final casting will be announced shortly.

Port Jefferson’s Theatre Three indeed has a hit with their current offering The Marvelous Wonderettes. Running through March 26th, the adorable production is superbly directed by Long Island theatre vet Linda May. This show hasn’t been on Broadway, per se, but it did have two off-Broadway runs in 2008 and 2016 well as inspiring several spin-offs. There have been many local productions of this show and it’s easy to understand why: it is a fun, nostalgic show.

After more than two years, Theatre Three returns home just in time to go “a-pirating” with the true-ish story of Stede Bonnet, the Gentleman Pirate.

This blast-from-the-past musical takes you to the 1958 Springfield High School prom, where we meet Betty Jean, Cindy Lou, Missy, and Suzy, four girls with hopes and dreams as big as their crinoline skirts!

From Wednesday 9th March (New Theatre, Cardiff) acclaimed actress, musician, TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing star Louise Redknapp joins Oliver Farnworth (Dan Gallagher) as his wife, Beth and Susie Amy who takes on the role of Alex Forrest when Kym Marsh concludes her run in the tour on Saturday 5th March 2022.

Due to a production-related delay, Theatre Three's production of Audrey Cefaly's Maytag Virgin will now open Saturday, February 5 and run through to the original ending date of  Sunday, February 20 at Bryant Hall on the Kalita Humphreys Campus. Directed by Whitney LaTrice Coulter, the production will star Tiffany Solano as “Lizzy” and Ian Ferguson as “Jack.”

Kym Marsh (ITV’s Coronation Street) will perform the iconic role of Alex Forrest, Oliver Farnworth (ITV’s Coronation Street) her lover, Dan Gallagher and Susie Amy (ITV’s Footballers’ Wives) his wife, Beth.

Plain Heroines and Park Theatre present The 4th Country, a look into life in modern Northern Ireland and who should tell its stories, written by Kate Reid and directed by Gabriella Bird, 12 January – 5 February, Park Theatre, Park90.

The show is wonderful to begin with; there is no doubt about that. Theatre Three's 37th annual production of the iconic Charles Dickens tale A Christmas Carol has certainly become a beautiful tradition on Long Island. Even with slight changes throughout the years, this ageless production is as spectacular as ever. Jeffrey Sanzel, the Artistic Director of the Port Jefferson venue celebrating its 51st season, directs the dazzling play running through December 26th.

In 2022, the Stratford Festival is coming back big to mark a monumental moment in its history with a full repertory season running from early April to the end of October, 10 major productions and almost two hundred Meighen Forum events.
