Singer/songwriter and actor (Wendla in The Broadway revival of “Spring Awakening”) Katie Boeck has released her sophomore album Calico. Katie Boeck will perform two album release shows to support Calico: Nashville on May 5 at The Bowery Vault and Los Angeles on May 12 at the Hotel Café.

If you can’t handle two hours of innocence and joy, you might need to skip this one. As for the rest of us, go bathe in the delicious happiness of this sincere and endearing production of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s CINDERELLA.

Nominations have been announced for the 37th Helen Hayes Awards, which will be presented on Monday, May 22. Nominees include productions from Arena Stage, Signature Theatre, GALA Hispanic Theatre and more.

ZACH Theatre in partnership with Deaf Austin Theatre has announced the cast of Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella playing January 25 – March 5 at The Topfer at ZACH with a cast and crew of deaf and hearing actors. 

Deaf Austin Theatre's The Last Five Years is set to open at Ground Floor Theatre this weekend! The production runs from December 2nd - 18th.

Using a mixture of live piano & musical tracks, and employing the deaf theatre technique of Shadowing, this Halloween festival was more than a treat to the eyes and ears - it was a total blast, a party!

54 BELOW, Broadway’s Supper Club, presents Broadway SIGNs! Halloween Spooktacular with headliner Russell Harvard (To Kill A Mockingbird, Spring Awakening Deaf West revival) and an ensemble cast of rockers, actors and pop artists. Expect a Twilight Zone-inspired night of musical storytelling and Halloween classics in American Sign Language (ASL).

Olney Theatre Center is presenting a production of Meredith Willson's The Music Man that features a Deaf actor, James Caverly in the lead role of Harold Hill, and is generated by a company and creative team that consists of half Deaf and half hearing artists.
