Northern Tracks: A Canadian Mixtape is the newest original release on the Stratford Festival's worldwide streaming platform, Stratfest@Home. Each of the nine episodes shines a spotlight on a Canadian musical great with selections performed by the country's top talents. A thrilling highlight: three Oscar Peterson selections that have never before been recorded with lyrics.

Alberta Cross released a cover of Sharon Van Etten’s “Every Time The Sun Comes Up.” Sinking Ships was written mostly at the The Wool Hall in Frome Somerset with Petter’s long term producer and collaborator, Luke Potashnick - Luke recently renovated The Wool Hall (legendary in part due to Van Morrisson and Tears for Fears recording albums there).

The news arrives alongside lead single 'On A Beach (feat Feist)' and its cinematic, star-studded official video, also featuring the inimitable Leslie Feist with cameos by Matt Berninger of The National and beloved actor Steve Buscemi (who Hayden last worked with on the music for Trees Lounge, Buscemi’s 1997 directorial debut).

Beans on Toast - will release the powerful new single: “Against The War”. One year since the war in Ukraine began and with the Doomsday clock closer to midnight than ever before, the UK folk singer returns with a timely protest song that needs little explanation. Crazy Horse has always been a band that was meant to be. Formed in the late 1960s as rock & roll was beginning to take a turn into the '70s, the band (Ralph Molina, Billy Talbot and Danny Whitten) had started playing with Neil Young, and, though they didn't know it then, were going to make history for 50-plus years.

Lyrics and Lyricists presents What's Going On?: Songs of Change on March 25, 26 and 27. What's Going On was created and conceived by Warren Adams (Motown: The Musical) and Michael O. Mitchell (MJ: The Musical ) as a theatrical concert exploring the work of Black songwriters and artists whose music is an essential part of the American Songbook and has played an integral role in the country's culture.

Nashville rockers Country Westerns have shared new track “Speaking Ill of the Blues” from their sophomore LP Forgive The City. Marking the band’s second full-length release for Fat Possum, Forgive The City is also their second to be helmed by famed producer Matt Sweeney (who also contributes his lead guitar stylings to a few tracks). 

It’s the newly released lead single from IT'LL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN, his six-song tribute EP to the late iconic singer and songwriter Tim Hardin. The EP, featuring all Hardin originals, was produced by Gerry Beckley of America as the first release on new Nashville-based label Melody Place. Watch the new music video now!

This Thursday join powerhouse vocalist Chris Pinnella (formerly of Trans-Siberian Orchestra) + his 10-Piece Orchestra for an all new evening of Classics Reimagined. The night will showcase an electric list of songs that have stood the test of time plus some new classics as well.

The London-based rock band Alberta Cross released a new single “Between You And Me” from their forthcoming album Sinking Ships out March 31 via Dark Matter / AMK distributed through Kartel Music Group. The album is now available for pre-order and tickets are on sale for their album release show at OMEARA in London on April 4.

The Flynn has announced that the Grammy-winning rock group The Wallflowers are coming to Burlington to play the Flynn Main Stage on Thursday, May 4 at 7:30 pm.

Neil Young: Harvest Time screens at the Park Theatre this weekend. The docu-film about the making of the classic Neil Young album HARVEST was shot from September to November 1971. 

The visuals to accompany the new album project are equally poignant - the video which will drop in a couple of weeks is once again directed by Luis Velasco and shot on Super 8 cameras. Christopher Gee’s (British artist from Portsmouth, who lives and works on The Thames Estuary, Essex) paintings will be used throughout the campaign.

Little Rock-based americana group, Ten Penny Gypsy is known for their down-to-earth and emotionally-charged music. Keeping with the traditions of American Roots music, the band recently released a rustic music video to accompany a stripped-down acoustic toe-tapper, 'River N' Me.' The song is a studio outtake from the band's critically acclaimed album, 'Fugitive Heart,' produced by longtime Neil Young guitarist, Anthony Crawford.

After making their debut in November 2022, Sun Lo, the electronica project from ATTLAS and Richard Walters make a grand return with new single “Nothing Permanent.” Picking up where “Factory Gates” left off, listeners are greeted with feathery synths and Walters’ epic vocals that give way to lush rolling arpeggios.
