Producers Lia Vollack and Michael Cassel announced that Almost Famous, the new musical with book and co-lyrics by Academy Award and Grammy Award winner Cameron Crowe, based on his iconic film, will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre.

Watch the final episode of the docuseries Here’s To The Ladies Who, produced by The Broadway Women’s Alliance and YesAnd Productions. This episode marks the finale of the six-episode series.

The curtain was raised last night as Broadway welcomed its newest musical, Almost Famous, based on Academy Award and Grammy Award winner Cameron Crowe’s iconic film of the same name, featuring 15 Broadway cast debuts.

Academy Award winner Cameron Crowe and famed rock photographer Neal Preston hosted an Almost Famous Opening Reception Photo Exhibition, along with a few special guests at the Morrison Hotel Gallery. See photos here!

The Theatre Leadership Project (TTLP), founded during the pandemic to create lasting change in American theatre by installing BIPOC leadership in the industry, held its first in-person affair on Monday at Brooklyn Chop House in Times Square.

To commemorate the 40-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s revolutionary Thriller album, the Estate of Michael Jackson and Sony Music Entertainment are celebrating the artistic vision that anchored the biggest selling album of all time with a new official documentary. The film will feature never-before-seen footage and candid interviews.
