The Muny has announced its full cast, design and production teams for the Muny family favorite Disney's Beauty and the Beast, June 22 -30.

On Friday night, June 2, 2023, The Golden Unicorn, in the heart of New York City’s Chinatown, came to vibrant life as supporters of National Asian Artists Project (NAAP) gathered for the first time, since the pandemic. Check out photos from inside the big event!

Ben Cameron’s Broadway Sessions continues at The Green Room 42 this week, May 25th,  with a special All Star roster of Broadway favorites celebrating AAPI HERITAGE MONTH. The evening will be co-hosted by Aaron J Albano (Hamilton, Newsies, Wicked). 

A starry line-up of talent was hand to celebrate Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Producer), New York City’s award-winning pioneer in diversity and multi-ethnic casting in the performing arts since 1968, at its annual Gala Benefit Concert on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Theatre 555. Catherine O'Hara will return to the role of Delia Deetz for the upcoming Beetlejuice sequel, which is now being filming London. Monica Bellucci has also joined the film, playing Beetlejuice's wife. Michael Keaton, Winona Ryder, Jenna Ortega, and Justin Theroux will also appear in the new film.

Beetlejuice 2, the long-awaited sequel to the classic 1988 comedy, will premiere in theaters in 2024. Michael Keaton will be returning in the title role, with Winona Ryder returning as Lydia Deetz. Wednesday star Jenna Ortega and Justin Theroux have also joined the cast. The film's script is by Mike Vukadinovich.

The Muny has announced that Ashley Blanchet, Ben Crawford, Claybourne Elder, Ann Harada, Kelvin Moon Loh, Eric Jordan Young, Holly Ann Butler, Tommy Bracco, Harrison White, Debby Lennon and Michael Hobin will star in the magical production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, June 22 - 30, 2023.

Amas Musical Theatre  has announced a starry line-up of talent that will be on hand to celebrate the company's 54th Anniversary at its annual Gala Benefit Concert on Monday, May 15, 2023 at Theatre 555.

Jenna Ortega is in talks to reunite with Tim Burton on the Beetlejuice sequel. Ortega would play Lydia's daughter in Beetlejuice 2. Michael Keaton and Winona Ryder are also expected to return as Beetlejuice and Lydia, respectively, with Burton at the helm.
