The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has announced the Januscary Film Festival at the Harris Theater, six classic and new horror films come to the historic theater throughout the first week of January. Januscary kicks off with a FREE screening of John Carpenter's, The Thing on Saturday, January 1 at 8:00 p.m, a free ticket is required for entry.

Today, producers Brian Moreland, Ron Simons, Diana DiMenna, Samira Wiley, Sheryl Lee Ralph, The Shubert Organization, and The Nederlander Organization announced complete casting for Thoughts of a Colored Man, the new play by Keenan Scott II, directed by Steve H. Broadnax III.

Today, Red Bull Theater announced that Laila Robins will join the cast of the first public presentation of a new dramatization of Ben Jonson’s Sejanus, His Fall, adapted and directed by Nathan Winkelstein, Red Bull’s Associate Artistic Director. Ms Robins replaces the previously announced Kate Burton, who withdrew due to a scheduling conflict.

The show is based on the life of an American woman who falls in love with a Sicilian man while studying abroad in Italy. She builds a life with him in the United States and unfortunately loses him to illness. She, (Saldana), takes on the task of raising her daughter alone.
