For the first time in the venue's history, The Ridgefield Playhouse will present a three-night stand-up comedy residency!  Comedian Brian Regan will take the stage at 8pm on Thursday, January 13th, Friday, January 14th and Saturday, January 15th, as part of the Barts Tree Service Comedy Series. 

The renowned Laugh Factory has announced the residency of comedy legend, Jon Lovitz, performing Nov 22-24, Nov 29-Dec 1, Dec 6-8, Dec 27-29, with additional 2022 dates to be announced.

Ariana Grande appeared on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to discuss being a judge on The Voice and her role in the new film 'Don't Look Up'. Construction vs Cancer's (CVC) first ever live Comedy Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, October 2nd at The Comedy Chateau, 4615 Lankershim Blvd., North Hollywood CA 91602, from 6PM-9PM. The event, organized by the American Cancer Society Southern California 'Construction vs Cancer' volunteers, will include a cocktail networking hour and comedy show featuring well known headliners.

I’m happy to report that SUMMERTIME SWING! is perfectly on-brand. Mr. Feinstein delivers some finely crafted gems from the Great American Songbook with his trademark energy and showmanship. I have seen Feinstein mostly in larger venues, and so the surprising element in this show was to see how intimately he engaged his audience in the cozier quarters of 54 Below. It was truly like being invited into his home. He had some expert help with the party. Mark McClean on drums and David Finck on bass are fantastic musicians. Tedd Firth on the piano was positively on fire in his creativity. The trio was a jazz lover's dream. It is a delight to hear musicians of this caliber do what they do.

Singer Freda Payne, the celebrated singer of the disco-era top-charter “Band of Gold,” will bring her acclaimed “Tribute to Ella Fitzgerald” to Bucks County Playhouse for ten concerts, August 26 through September 5.

When asked if she considered retiring amidst the ongoing pandemic, she replied immediately with 'Never. It's not in my vocabulary. The word retirement has never been in my vocabulary. Oh, no!'

Ms. Shahoian, who hails from the Bay Area in California, has an interesting story. She was a child prodigy whose gifts landed her an appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson when she was only 8 years old. She has been making beautiful music ever since, including two albums, Waiting for You and Believe, which was the winner of several awards.
