Almost Famous – Original Broadway Cast Recording will be released on March 17, 2023.  Available now for preorder on CD and 2-LP vinyl, the album is produced by Scott M. Riesett, Tom Kitt and Cameron Crowe, and features original music by Kitt with lyrics by Crowe and Kitt. 

The episode will also feature an interview with Academy Award and Grammy Award winner Cameron Crowe, who wrote the book and co-wrote the lyrics for the new musical based on his film of the same name. The cast includes Chris Wood, Solea Pfeiffer, Drew Gehling, Rob Colletti, Casey Likes, and more.

Almost Famous has cancelled their October 18 at 8pm performance. Performances will resume as scheduled on October 19 at 8pm. The production stars Chris Wood, Tony Award® nominee Anika Larsen, Solea Pfeiffer, Drew Gehling, Rob Colletti, and introducing Casey Likes.

Almost Famous is now in previews at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre, the new musical featuring 15 Broadway cast debuts, with a book and co-lyrics by Academy Award® winner Cameron Crowe, based on his iconic film. A new track “Morocco” has been released from Almost Famous – Original Cast Recording. The song, performed by Solea Pfeiffer and Casey Likes, features music by Tom Kitt with lyrics by Cameron Crowe and Tom Kitt.

On Tuesday, September 13, nine record stores in New York City will celebrate the 22nd anniversary of the original 2000 film, Almost Famous, with an Almost Famous-inspired vinyl selection of records curated by Cameron Crowe, Academy Award-winning director, writer and co-lyricist of the new Broadway musical of the same title.
