The National Theatre has announced three new productions for 2023 and the revival of the critically acclaimed The Father and the Assassin. A new production devised by The PappyShow will tour directly to 55 schools across England, and National Theatre Live brings The Crucible, Othello and GOOD to cinema goers around the world.

Rehearsals are underway for the American premiere of The Collaboration, which will begin previews on Tuesday, November 29 ahead of a Tuesday, December 20 opening at the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre. Regent's Park Open Air Theatre have today confirmed their 2022 summer season, the venue's 90th anniversary. The musical Legally Blonde (13 May – 2 July) is directed by Lucy Moss, co-writer and co-director of Six.

The cast is made up of all RADA graduates with Branagh playing Andrew Crocker-Harris. He will be joined by Kemi Awoderu (Taplow), Joseph Kloska (Frank Hunter), Lolita Chakrabarti (Millie Crocker-Harris), Wendy Kweh (Dr Frobisher), Victor Alli (Peter Gilbert) and Sarah Eve (Mrs Gilbert).

From December over 60 writers will be involved in the creation of the Royal Court Theatre's upcoming project Living Newspaper: A Counter Narrative, a weekly live newspaper running over six weeks which will see the theatre reopen since its closure in March.

With design by Anna Fleischle, lighting design by Aideen Malone and sound design by Emma Laxton. A Kind of People will be performed in the Royal Court Jerwood Theatre Downstairs from Thursday 5 December 2019 to Saturday 18 January 2020, with press night on Wednesday 11 December 2019, 7pm.
