The cast includes Stephanie Berry as “Geraldine Irby,” Jake Ryan Lozano as “Sam Yates,” Sasha Camille Manuel as “Ella Irby,” Anthony Lee Medina as “Ruben Torres,” Jhardon Dishon Milton as “Jonah Irby.”

he season will feature the world premiere of Silver Foxes, a new play by the writing team of “The Golden Girls”, plus the regional premieres of the 2019 Drama Desk nominated musical, Head over Heels and the recent Broadway hit Chicken & Biscuits. Thom Pain (based on nothing), a play by Will Eno, has been announced for the 2022 Hollywood Fringe Festival. Directed by Bryan Keith and performed by Johnny Patrick Yoder, there will be five performances only at the Broadwater Second Stage: Sunday 6/5 at 5:30pm (preview); Saturday 6/11 at 7:30pm; Thursday 6/16 at 8pm; Wednesday 6/22 at 5pm; and Saturday 6/25 at 12:30pm. Running time is 70 minutes.

The 2022 winners of Douglas Lyons' Next Wave Initiative have been announced.  NWI is a developmental branch of The Directors Company committed to amplifying future Black voices in The American Theatre. Each winner will receive financial scholarships ranging from $500 to $1,959 to support their undergraduate or graduate education.
