Gingold Theatrical Group is presenting SPEAKER'S CORNER Writers Group. This season, writers Aeneas Sagar Hemphill, Divya Mangwani, Marcus Scott and Mallory Jane Weiss are developing works in response to prompts from the revolutionary activist humanitarian writings and precepts of George Bernard Shaw.

The Alliance of Resident Theatres/New York (A.R.T./New York) announced today that Risa Shoup, who began serving as Interim Executive Director in August 2020, has been named to the permanent position of Co-Director in a unanimous vote by the A.R.T./New York Board of Directors.

Orlando Repertory Theatre will join in partnership with TheaterWorksUSA bringing three productions to Orlando REP stages during 2022-2023.  After a successful presentation of TheaterWorksUSA's The Pout-Pout Fish earlier this year, a full season partnership brings Dog Man: The Musical, Click, Clack, Moo, and The Lightning Thief: Theater for Young Audiences Edition to Orlando family audiences. Musical Theatre Composer, Jaime Lozano and Singer/Director, Florencia Cuenca are bringing DESAPARECIDAS to Joe’s Pub on Monday, March 28th, 2022 at 7:00 pm. Their show explores the systematic oppression of women in the fight to end gender-based violence and the killing of women and girls in Ciudad Juárez, México.

This world premiere opened just last night and runs through Sunday, March 13.
