Hugh Jackman has revealed that he is open to playing Peter Allen from The Boy From Oz again. Jackman, who said that playing Peter Allen was 'the most fun [he's] ever had,' looked back on the celebrities who joined him onstage during performances, including Matt Damon, Barbara Walters, and Sarah Jessica Parker, in a new interview.

Leslee Warren came out on top of the 8th annual “Tomatoes Got Talent” contest at The Triad Theatre on Tue October 11.  The runner-ups were Mary Calamia, Marge Helenchild, Jean Marcley and Aleta St. James. 

On The View, Goldberg revealed to her Sister Act co-star Kathy Najimy that Sister Act 3 'is happening' and that she will be getting a script at the end of the month. Goldberg attributed Disney's interest in the project to the success of Hocus Pocus 2. Goldberg has also teased the film with Tyler Perry and Jenifer Lewis.

Penguin Rep Theatre held its annual fundraising gala on Saturday September 10 in Stony Point. The 2022 honorees included Edie Falco, the multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG Award winning actress, and stage manager Michael Palmer, who has overseen 20 productions for the Stony Point-based nonprofit professional theatre in Rockland and New York City.
