'Ugly Betty' Names This Season Its Last, Series to End in April

Producers announced today that the current season of 'Ugly Betty' will be its last, Variety is reporting. Cast and crew were told today that the ABC will no longer air episodes of the show and the finale of the current season will be the finale of the series, planned to air in April.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson is helping out Betty's move to Wednesdays with a little dental comedy. On January 6, Ferguson is reprising his role from season one of the hit show as Betty's orthodontist. As told to Ew.com, Ferguson says 'It's a really fun scene between the two of them.'

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that Ugly Betty is on the move again, graduating from his Friday night time slot at 9pm to a more desirable Wednesday at 10 pm/ET home on ABC. It is expected that this move will most likely occur when the show resumes after a holiday hiatus on January 6.
