ABC News and National Geographic team up for 'Eclipse Across America,' a unique live event broadcasting the rare total solar eclipse. Tune in for this unprecedented celestial spectacle. The special will be anchored by “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir and “ABC News Live Prime” anchor Linsey Davis, who will be reporting from Vermont.

ABC News will celebrate the 96th Oscars with special programming, including the live pre-show “Countdown to Oscars: On the Red Carpet Live!” on Sunday. ABC News announced today plans to provide special daytime coverage of COVID-19 beginning Wednesday, March 18, at 1:00 p.m. EDT/12:00 p.m. CDT on ABC, temporarily replacing episodes of “GMA3: Strahan, Sara & Keke,” and at 4:00 p.m. EDT on ABC News Live. With so many new questions and growing concerns about the coronavirus outbreak, “Pandemic: What You Need to Know,” anchored by Amy Robach with the latest health and safety guidance from ABC News' chief medical correspondent Dr. Jennifer Ashton, will address the widespread issues caused by the global pandemic and offer solutions from those adjusting to a new way of life.

As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to unfold, ABC News' “20/20” will air a live one-hour special on the latest news, developments and people affected by the virus and widespread changes sweeping the nation.

ABC News' “20/20” stood as Friday's No. 1 newsmagazine, outdelivering NBC's “Dateline” by double digits in all key target demos: Total Viewers (+13% – 4.3 million vs. 3.8 million), Adults 18-49 (+17% - 0.7/4 vs. 0.6/3) and Adults 25-54 (+11% - 1.0/5 vs. 0.9/4).  In fact, “20/20” ranked as Friday's No. 1 telecast overall in Adults 25-54.

Beginning tonight, ABC News' “Nightline” will devote its show fully to continual coverage of COVID-19. “Nightline” will take a distinctive look at the global and domestic effects of the coronavirus outbreak from testing and quarantined cases to business, labor and politics. The program's move to single-topic coverage is a return to its roots when “Nightline” launched 40 years ago with daily news updates on the Iran hostage crisis.
