Peter Shaffer's award winning play, Amadeus brings its talent to Downtown Cabaret in Bridgeport, Connecticut - and does not disappoint. Mixed with silly humor and dark drama, Amadeus is a show that reels you in and doesn't let go until the very end.

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Chris Kozlowski) and Antonio Salieri (Geoffrey Gilbert) are two composers with the vision of being the absolute best. Both wish to show their talents to the world and create captivating music for all to hear, but Mozart and Salieri take very different approaches getting there, costing many setbacks along the way.

There's no doubt Mozart is highly talented (and more well-known to the public), causing Salieri envious of his revival, stopping at nothing to ruin his name. But with severe twists and emotional turns, Salieri discovers what greed can do to a person, resulting in grave consequences one could never have predicted.

With a powerful storyline of ultimate betrayal, Amadeus is a show that will both excite and surprise you.

Amadeus is now playing at the Downtown Cabaret until February 19th.
