Six-time Tony nominee Channing is currently starring on Broadway in It's Only a Play. Among her other Broadway credits are Other Desert Cities, Pal Joey, The Lion in Winter, The Little Foxes, Four Baboons Adoring the Sun, Six Degrees of Separation, Love Letters, The House of Blue Leaves, Joe Egg (which won her a 1985 Tony Award), The Golden Age, The Rink, They're Playing Our Song, No Hard Feelings and Two Gentlemen of Verona. The actress is also known for her portrayal of 'First Lady Abbey Bartlet' on The West Wing and for playing 'Betty Rizzo' in the Grease movie, as well as her performance in the film version of Six Degrees of Separation, which earned her an Oscar nomination. She also recently starred on TV in The Good Wife.
