Broadway Weather Forecast: Cloudy with a high of 67 and rain in the afternoon; thundershowers throughout the night. Typical fall...

Quote of the Day: Billy Crystal on the "murky middle"...

"In my standup work, I always do these characters, older people who are just off to the side. It's easier to write a story about the guy who made it to the top, but the middle is so much more interesting, so much more murky."
-- Billy Crystal (via BrainyQuote)

What we're listening to: Susan Boyle's new studio album HOPE, out today!

What we're watching: Billy Crystal's 700 SUNDAYS, released today on DVD/Digital!

And finally, a Happy Birthday shout-out to Aaron Tveit, who hits the big 3-0 today!

Tveit, who is set to appear in Assassins the Menier Chocolate Factory this fall, last starred on Broadway in Catch Me if You Can. His other credits include Next to Normal, Wicked and Hairspray, plus Rent on tour and at the Hollywood Bowl. Tveit played 'Enjolras' in Tom Hooper's 2012 film adaptation of Les Miserables and currently stars in USA's Graceland.
