Visitors to the Museum of the City Of New York's July 6th presentation of "The Genius of Irving Berlin: A New York Story" got a preview of the newest Broadway adaptation of a Berlin movie musical classic, the Roundabout Theatre Company's production of HOLIDAY INN.

Megan Sikora (left), who plays nightclub entertainer Lila Dixon, the role played by Virginia Dale in the classic film, and ensemble member Darien Crago treated the audience to the score's most beloved holiday song, "White Christmas."

The screen classic starred Fred Astaire and Bing Crosby as proprietors of a Connecticut lodge that's only open on holidays, with a song for every one of them.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director), in association with Universal Stage Productions, just announced complete casting for the first-ever Broadway production of HOLIDAY INN, THE NEW Irving Berlin MUSICAL starring Tony Award nominee Bryce Pinkham, Lora Lee Gayer, Tony Award nominee Megan Lawrence, Megan Sikora, with Corbin Bleu and Tony Award nominee Lee Wilkof. With music and lyrics byIrving Berlin, Gordon Greenberg andChad Hodge's new book is inspired by the Academy Award-winning film, Holiday Inn.

Directed by Gordon Greenberg and choreographed by Denis Jones, Holiday Inn, The New Irving Berlin Musical will begin preview performances on September 1, 2016, and open officially on October 6, 2016, on Broadway at Studio 54 (254 West 54th Street). This will be a limited engagement.

Holiday Inn, The New Irving Berlin Musical tells the story of Jim, who leaves the bright lights of show business behind to settle down on his farmhouse in Connecticut... but life just isn't the same without a bit of song and dance. Jim's luck takes a spectacular turn when he meets Linda, a spirited schoolteacher with talent to spare. Together they turn The Farmhouse into a fabulous inn with sensational performances to celebrate each holiday, from Thanksgiving to the Fourth of July. But when Jim's best friend Ted tries to lure Linda away to be his new dance partner in Hollywood, will Jim be able to salvage his latest chance at love? Whether you adored the film or are experiencing HOLIDAY INN for the first time, this year-round romance is sure to delight.
