The Michael O'Neal Summer Singers have announced a special summer event through the Sundays on the Square program, outdoors at the Historic Roswell Square. The Chamber Singers celebrate summer with a diverse choral concert including popular folk songs, lively hymns and hits from musical theatre. The program is part of the City of Roswell's Sundays on the Square series, and takes place at the Historic Roswell Square at the intersection of Marietta Highway 120 and South Atlanta Street in Roswell, Georgia 30075. Admission is free.

The Michael O'Neal Summer Singers will present 'Salute to America' on August 15, 2010 at 3 PM.
This will include an afternoon of choral music celebrating the American Dream, with texts and music from some of America's greatest poets, politicians and composers including Julia Ward Howe, Thomas Jefferson, Randall Thompson, and Walt Whitman.

The Michael O'Neal Singers organization is comprised of a symphonic chorus of 135 auditioned voices and a chamber ensemble of twenty-six voices. MOS provides a unique opportunity to the north metropolitan Atlanta community to experience choral performances of artistic excellence and programmatic variety.

Recognizing that music is essential to the human spirit, the purpose of The Michael O'Neal Singers is to enrich the quality of life in our community through performance of choral repertoire that engages the audience, challenges the singers and is rewarding for all.
