Social Media Round-Up! Keala Settle Shares Rehearsal Updates For WAITRESS: THE MUSICAL

Behind the scenes of WAITRESS: THE MUSICAL!

Pop superstar Sara Bareilles's hotly anticipated stage adaptation of the popular indie comedy WAITRESS is preparing for its premiere production in August at the American Repertory Theater in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and a noted cast member of the production, Keala Settle, shared a look inside rehearsals with a series of new social media posts.

Settle utilized her Instagram account to share several photos and a video of the cast in rehearsal as well as out and about in Cambridge on their downtime this month.

Among the posts, Settle shared a shot of herself alongside Tony Award-winning star Jessie Mueller preparing pies as well as a video of Mueller crooning a tune dedicated to the joys of quiche, writing, "These fools....I am THE LUCKIEST! #Repost @sarabareilles Bad Baby" and "Quiche Pie does strange things to our people."

Additionally, Settle shared a shot of Mueller and herself working with props, posting, "Waitress 101 with #JessieMueller @thebigdewaal @egroove @americanrep THX @hagen_sam #imsoscaaaaaaaaared".

Plus, Settle posted a photo of the cast out and about, writing, "Joe's Pie Diner Employee outing #Repost @egroove Joe's employees with a perfect Guinness. #WaitressART".

This morning, Settle posted a photo of her sheet music and a Coke can from rehearsal, writing, "Time to make the donuts #WaitressART @sarabareilles @americanrep".
