Mark your calendars today for the fall's most anticipated anniversary and birthday celebration when the mega stars of Broadway and Cabaret come out to salute award-winning cabaret performer and Tony Award-winning producer Jamie deRoy when she celebrates the 25th anniversary of her Multi MAC award-winning Variety Show Jamie deRoy & friends, and her "40th annual 30th Birthday" on Monday, November 9th (7:30PM) at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College (899 10th Avenue at 59th Street.)

Proceeds from the evening will benefit The Actors Fund's new program, The Jamie deRoy & friends Cabaret Initiative. The program has been created to assist people working in the cabaret industry who seek help for medical needs and concerns made available through the comprehensive services and programs at The Actors Fund.

Robert Cucciolli, Jay Johnson and Luba Mason will join previously announced Joy Behar, Larry Gatlin, Michele Lee to topline the gala benefit and as well as some surpise guests still to be announced!

Barry Kleinbort will direct, and Ron Abel will serve as musical director for the full stage band.

The colorful cabaret series, which has been thrilling New York City audiences for the past 25 years and serves as the basis for deRoy's award-winning cable television show, spotlights a wide variety of well-known entertainers and newcomers lighting up the worlds of cabaret, theater, music and comedy.

In addition to her three Tony Awards for her theatre producing talents (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, The Norman Conquests), Jamie deRoy has won eight MAC Awards, four Back Stage Bistro Awards, eleven Telly Awards and CaB Magazine's Lifetime Achievement Award for her extensive work on both stage and screen. Jamie has appeared onstage with the late & legendary Joan Rivers and has headlined at many of New York's major clubs. She has produced eight CDs in the Jamie deRoy & friends series on the Harbinger and PS Classics labels. Her TV and film producing credits include the Emmy-nominated "The Biggest Little Operas in Town" for Channel 13 and Rick McKay's documentary Broadway: The Golden Age. Her acting credits include appearances on the television shows "Alice," "Spiderman" and "Knight Rider," and in the films GoodFellas, Raging Bull, See No Evil, Hear No Evil and Married to It. Onstage, Jamie appeared with Rene Auberjonois in The Threepenny Opera, as well as in The Drunkard with musical direction by Barry Manilow.
