Rodgers & Hammerstein's celebrated and rightly classic musical THE SOUND OF MUSIC is currently enjoying a West End run courtesy of the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre and an eye-grabbing new trailer for the hit revival has been unveiled in honor of the environmental production's recently announced extension through September 14.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC stars Charlotte Wakefield as Maria, along with Michael Xavier as Captain Von Trapp, Helen Hobson as the Mother Abbess, Caroline Keiff as Elsa Shraeder and Michael Matus as Max Detweiler along with Faye Brookes as Liesl, Stuart Matthew Price as Franz and many more. The production is directed by Rachel Kavanaugh.

The official description of the production is as follows: "Rediscover this classic musical in the enchanting surroundings of Regent's Park Open Air Theatre.With a timeless score which includes 'Do-Re-Mi', 'Climb Ev'ry Mountain', 'My Favourite Things', 'Sixteen Going on Seventeen' and 'Edelweiss', The Sound of Music has inspired audiences across the world with its story of love and freedom."
